Role: Art Director

As a member of the UpWork redesign team, we focused on the concept of connection through freelancers and employers alike. This is reflected throughout the design system, perhaps most clearly in the new logo for Upwork. Retaining the iconic ligature between U and P, the logo design merges the previously separate words "up" and "work" into a single, monochromatic mark. Even the typography combination strikes a balance between technical precision and human warmth, a duality that is reflected in Upwork's product. Read more about the highly celebrated project here.
